A queue for the bank in the frontline town of Kurakhovo. To receive their pensions from the Ukrainian government, elderly people from rebel-held territory were forced to travel through checkpoints and queue for hours at banks and government offices. Dozens died from heart attacks during such trips. Such trips are now impossible and most people have lost their Ukrainian pensions.
