This Panel builds on the Routledge Book: Domestic Violence in International Context, which features global experts on domestic violence in 31 countries. Our HRC Parallel Event now also builds on the CSW 62 Panel on Violence Against Rural Women, Law Enforcement Access & Support. This Human Rights Council Session 38 Panel will extend gender-based violence to the tragedy of femicide, and address prevention, good practices, research, statistics, realistic solutions, and victim-centered sensitivity.
