| This resource is the product of a collaboration between JASS and the Fund for Global Human Rights. In 2017, we co-convened diverse activists, international human rights and protection organizations and donors from around the world in Mexico and in Johannesburg to discuss the crackdown on human rights defenders (HRDs), movements and civic space. This collection of resources draws on the insights and stories gleaned from those rich dialogues, a selection of our tools and research, and the local-to-global experiences of many allies around the world.
