Objectives

• 
  collects and houses research data and documentation
  produced on the status and condition of Palestinian women;

·       
commissions research and produce policy
briefs;

·       
analyzes and disseminates information on the
status and condition of women to local women’s organizations, policy makers,
legislative and municipal bodies and other relevant partners;

·       
promotes initiatives that create a better
understanding of the human rights of women and gender equality, including
appropriate social policies and the enhancement of women’s political
participation;

•  works with the
  media to better report on women and gender issues and offer more varied
  images of women;

• supports young
  researchers in applied research on women’s participation and rights;

·       
facilitates networking, capacity-building,
and the sharing of information on women across the Arab region and globally
