Daughter of a Lost Bird – Sensitive Film about Transracial Adoption

Native American children adopted out of their tribal communities are often referred to as “lost birds.” WMM release DAUGHTER OF A LOST BIRD is a beautiful and intimate film that follows Kendra Mylnechuk Potter, a Native woman adopted into a white family, as she reconnects with her Native identity. The film follows Kendra on her journey to find her birth mother April, also a Native adoptee, and return to her Lummi homelands in Washington State.
